Meditation

And you ask me of Meditation

Haven’t you seen ants making anthills
Or birds making nests
Little honeybees collecting honey
Toiling day and night but to Offer

What purpose do you see
In what you call a honeybee
In that toil for collecting honey
Or for that matter a tree
That bears fruit and sets it free
There is no purpose
They live in harmony

In your endless march towards nowhere
You search for some purpose and run
Finally suffer, die and decay

On ripening - Fruit falls
On ripening – Man falls
Wisdom is the surrender of Ego
And TRUTH happens

Haven’t you seen the rising and falling of moods
Inside you
Or projecting thoughts moving ever and ever
Inside you
Haven’t you realized every once in a while
That it was but a dream

When the observer separates itself from the observed
And nothing but watches this entire panorama
Be that Anger
Or an Urge
Or any unfulfilled Desire
Like waves rising and falling, you stay but an observer
Then that which happens is Meditation

Doing simple things with profoundness is Meditation
Doing profound things with simplicity is Meditation
Doing all this being an observer is Meditation
